The 3-Minute Miracle Recipe

Before you begin, move to a space with minimum distractions as you learn this tool (if you can!)…once you have the hang of it, you’ll be able to easily use it anywhere, anytime!

Take note of how big your stress feels in this moment…rate it 0-10 (10 is the biggest).

STEP 1: Begin with the Breath-

  • take 3 breaths longer, slower and fuller than usual

  • breath in and out through the nose

  • extend the exhale if possible

STEP 2: Press and Breathe-

  • using two fingers, apply gentle pressure at each point below while taking one long, slow full breath

  • move through each point in the series below

STEP 3: Gratitude- say aloud 3 things you see or feel thankful for and you are done!

*NOTE: after you have completed STEP 2 in the above exercise, assess how you are feeling now (1-10) and repeat STEP 2 again if your stress score is not at 3 or below

Pressure Points-

  1. top of head

  2. inside of eye

  3. outside of eye

  4. under eye

  5. under nose

  6. chin

  7. collar bone

  8. under arm
